Jodie Comer has long been part of the fans' Fantastic Four fantasy cast and while she previously dismissed reports surrounding her potential casting as Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman, she remains a favorite amongst Marvel diehards.

When the SAG-AFTRA strikes fizzled out last month, fans were hopeful that Marvel Studios would finally drop casting announcements for the highly anticipated MCU reboot. Unfortunately, the studio has yet to make things official but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from spinning.

Now, Comer is once again addressing the reports surrounding her MCU casting.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, the English star said that she finds all the rumors fascinating but was quick to once again debunk the prospect. Admittedly, becoming part of the billion-dollar franchise isn't part of her aspirations right now but she's also not closing her doors.

Comer explained: "It’s so funny because people come up to me - even friends and family - and they’re like, ‘Are you doing X, Y and Z?’ And I’m like, 'No'. I’ve always felt very clear on where I want to go, and some rumors that come up may not necessarily be something I’d be interested in right now."

The Free Guy actress added: "But I’d never shoot them down because who knows where I’m going to be or what I might want to do in years to come. People change, their interests change. So it’s always just fascinating, and sometimes, I’m like, 'Where did they come from?'"

If the latest rumors are to be believed, Vanessa Kirby is the studio's current frontrunner to play Reed Richards' better half. Of course, nothing official has been set in stone and the reboot isn't coming out until 2025.

It would be a safe bet to say that casting announcements won't be made until next year's San Diego Comic-Con but we'll see.

Fantastic Four is currently slated for release on May 2, 2025.
