Marvel's Echo series is one of the most highly anticipated shows to come streaming on Disney Plus this coming 2024.

Considering that Marvel Phase Five has slowly been moving its calendar on which films and series should come first, Echo takes the spot right after the God of Mischief takes care of things at the Time Variance Authority.

The billion-dollar franchise has just confirmed that Echo will be dropping all of its episodes on Disney Plus on January 10, 2024.

As to what the series will be rated, the official trailer announcement clearly stated that Echo received a TV-MA rating from TV Parental Guidelines, which means two things: the series is only suitable for a mature audience and this marks Marvel's first-ever TV-MA-rated TV series.

The TV-MA rating already indicates what to expect from the Echo show, which would likely mean that the program would involve graphic violence, explicit sexual activity, or crude language.

As the trailer featured, we might encounter the show handling sensitive topics such as Maya facing discrimination for being born deaf.

The only other projects that involved the same rating are Netflix's Daredevil and The Punisher.

To think that Echo will be produced under Disney means huge things for the future of the series, and quite possibly, the rest of the MCU films and shows.

While many MCU fans were initially convinced that Deadpool 3 would be Marvel's first TV-MA-rated show.

Apart from the rating announcement and trailer description for Echo, the series will also be dropping all of its episodes on its premiere day, which means MCU diehards won't have to wait weekly for new episodes to come in streaming on the service.

Not to mention, Alaqua Cox's Maya won't be leading this series alone, since we're seeing Vincent D'Onofrio reprise his role as the infamous Kingpin and of course, Charlie Cox's Daredevil aka Matt Murdock.

Here's the official synopsis for Marvel's Echo, which you can read below:

Streaming exclusively on Disney, the origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.
