Sein Joins Frieren’s Party as a Priest
Frieren recruited Sein into their party in unimaginable ways. She happened to stumble upon Sein in the middle of narrating his life in a bottomless quagmire, believing his time was over.
As the good mage that she is, Frieren helps Sein by saving him with a magic spell capable of pulling someone out of a bottomless quagmire without dirtying her hands.
In return, Sein invited Frieren and her party to his village, but they refused.
In a sudden turn of events, Frieren returned to Sein's village to get treatment for Stark.
As it turns out, a poisonous snake bit Stark, and Frieren had no magic spell to treat him as fast as possible.
Frieren and Fern brought Stark to the town's church, where a priest resided.
This priest was actually Sein's older brother. He thought the poison was incurable, but his younger brother, Sein, could treat him without any problems.
If it weren’t for Sein who showed his healing prowess, Stark would have died, and his brains would have melted through his nose.
Then, Frieren’s party decided to recruit Sein, even though he was adamant about not abandoning his brother and pursuing his interests.
Despite Stark’s efforts to win Sein’s favor, it didn’t work. Frieren even blew a kiss to Sein upon knowing that he was into older women.
Eventually, Sein’s older brother convinced him to join Frieren’s party. He knocked some sense into Sein's head, and the rest is history.
Does Sein Leave Frieren’s Party?
Yes, Sein leaves Frieren’s party to find Warrior Gorilla. He had to say goodbye to Frieren’s party since they were going in different directions.
Frieren’s party headed over to Auberst for the first-class mage exams, while Sein went to Tur, a commercial town in the middle of the Northern Countries.
Tur is in the opposite direction from Auberst, which means Sein had to make a difficult decision.
True enough, Sein decided to find Warrior Gorilla instead. He had a lot of leads, so Frieren thought he would be fine even without them accompanying him along the way.
Frieren also thought that Sein was already an adult capable of taking care of himself.
