Meet Kohei Katsuragi: The Intimidating Leader of Class 1-A

Kohei exudes an intimidating presence due to his well-built physique and towering height.

His bald head, which is a result of illness, and his imposing body set him apart from his classmates, adding to his powerful stature.

He is a diligent student who gave his all to academics and managed a spot in Class 1-A, eventually earning a position as one of its representatives.

Serious and principled, he upholds standards of proper conduct and etiquette.

When a classmate mocked Ken Sudo and others, Kohei took it upon himself to address the situation.

Besides Arisu Sakayanagi, Kohei holds a prominent position within Class A, commanding a faction of his own.

However, following his setback during the island exam, his influence declines, leading to the eventual rise of Arisu’s group.

With only Yahiko Totsuka remaining by his side, Kohei’s support dwindles further when Yahiko is expelled in the Class Poll Exam.

Despite losing influence in his faction, Kohei doesn’t get expelled in Classroom of the Elite.

However, he came close to getting expelled in volume 10 of the Classroom of the Elite light novel.

Just days before the additional exam was declared for Class A, Kohei was selected as the candidate for expulsion.

Without any protest, Kohei stops his supporter Yahiko, who attempts to argue. But Kohei insists that he is ready to accept any consequences.

On the day of the exam, the majority of classes have decided on who will be expelled.

Class A selected Kohei, whereas Class D opted for Ryuen to be expelled.

Later, in class A, Arisu receives the highest number of praise votes totaling 36. Meanwhile, the student with the most number of criticism votes would be expelled.

But the homeroom teacher, Mashima, reveals that Totsuka has garnered the lowest number of votes, with 36 criticisms against him.

Mashima confirms that Kohei has managed to gather some praise votes, sparing him from expulsion.
