He wishes to experience what he has missed out on by being alone for close to 15 years. However, he is someone who has hardly shared what his true inner thoughts are.

Does Ayanokoji Ever Smile?
Ayanokoji has never genuinely smiled in Classroom of the Elite. However, he has been seen smiling ever so gently on one or two occasions, though fans are conflicted if he is smiling or if it's just the camera's angle.
In fact, in the anime, he appears more poker-faced and expressionless. But in the Classroom of the Elite light novel, he is more expressive.
During his life in the White Room, Ayanokoji has learned every skill imaginable. However, if there is one thing he lacks, it is the way to communicate his feelings.
It is important to note that he is not completely devoid of emotions. He can still feel things, but he doesn't know how to express himself.
