What is Ya Boy Kongming About?

Ya Boy Kongming, also known as Paripi Koumei, is a blend of comedy, historical, music, and seinen anime that follows the reincarnated Chinese general and tactician Zhu Ge Liang of the Three Kingdoms, popularly known as Kongming. Set in modern-day Shibuya, Japan, Kongming encounters the amateur musician Eiko Tsukimi in a nightclub owned by Kobayashi on the evening of Halloween.

Kongming volunteers to become Eiko's manager after meeting the Songstress of Hell in order to propel the latter's career to new heights. Kongming employs all of his knowledge and power to ensure that Eiko's musical performances are a huge success, far outnumbering her competitors. Kongming's strategies, in particular, surpass those of Sun Tzu's Art of War.

Do Kongming and Eiko End Up Together in Ya Boy Kongming?

Kongming and Eiko's relationship status is still unknown. Because the manga isn't finished yet, it's tough to gauge that they'll end up in each other's arms as Ya Boy Kongming comes to a close.

Also, rather than focusing on the romance between the two main characters, the manga concentrates on the humor and musical components of the series.

Kongming and Eiko, on the other hand, have a strange relationship that is based on solid ground after Eiko decides to open up to Kongming. Eiko apparently had depression in the past, which drove her to try suicide at the railway station.

Fortunately, owner Kobayashi steps in to save the day, deciding to keep an eye out for Eiko and hire her as a waitress, bartender, and musician in the nightclub. This is one of the reasons why Kongming resolves to assist Eiko in her musical endeavors without expecting anything in return.

In fact, she owes a debt of gratitude to Kongming, who has been working covertly behind Eiko's back. He's the one pushing her to be better, to concentrate more on herself, and to entrust him with everything as long as she believes him.

Kongming, on the other hand, is smitten by Eiko's singing voice. Eiko's voice is so divine to him that it makes him cry and think about his previous incarnation. He's in tears because of Eiko's calming and comforting voice!

Kongming and Eiko become more comfortable with each other as the anime unfolds. While Kongming takes care of the girl in his own way, Eiko begins to look for Kongming's approval of her performance.

There is love tension between the two of them from time to time, especially on Eiko's side. Eiko would frequently blush as a result of Kongming's comments and reactions to her performance.
