Daredevil: Born Again Will Reportedly Include Echo

After several months of anticipating, production has finally started for the upcoming MCU series Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio are reprising their respective roles from the original Netflix series and their previous MCU appearances.

Earlier this week, fans were delighted when it was confirmed that Jon Bernthal is reprising the role of Frank Castle/The Punisher in the series. While it is unknown how many episodes will he appear in, it is still exciting nonetheless since he is the third actor from the Netflix series to return.

Now, it looks like another familiar MCU character is also set to make an appearance in the series. Reporter Jeff Sneider revealed in The Hot Mic podcast that Echo, the character played by Alaqua Cox in Hawkeye and the upcoming Echo series, is set to appear in Daredevil: Born Again.

However, Sneider did not mention how many episodes will she appear in or if it will just simply be a guest/cameo appearance like Matt Murdock was in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The news has also not been confirmed yet by Marvel Studios so we still have to take it with a grain of salt as well.

If Echo does end up appearing in the series, it will not be a surprising direction since Cox and D'Onofrio are already confirmed to appear in the Echo series and her appearance might be a way to connect the two series and perhaps show the character's next journey after her solo series, which will air first.

The cast also includes Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Sandrine Holt, and Nikki M. James. Matt Corman and Chris Ord serve as the main head writers/showrunners of the series. It will consist of 18 episodes.
