A lot of MCU fans are looking forward to the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again which will star Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio once again following their Netflix run and, this time around, it is set within the official MCU timeline.

So far, the plot for the show's 18-episode run remains under wraps, but production is currently suspended due to the current Hollywood strikes and its release is being delayed indefinitely as a result.

For the past few months, we've been hearing a couple of rumors surrounding the alleged story of the series including Kingpin's political career and how they are handling the absence of Karen and Foggy.

Now, a new one has emerged which sheds some light on Matt Murdock's new love interest and it looks like her introduction will have a surprising twist.

According to insider @CanWeGetToast on X, Matt Murdock's new love interest in Daredevil: Born Again is Heather Glenn, a character that exists in the comics, who will be played by Margarita Levieva.

In the new series, Heather is already in a relationship with Matt and they share together an apartment. She also works as a couple therapist.

However, the twist surrounding her character is she's serving as a therapist for Wilson and Vanessa Fisk, who are apparently experiencing some sort of relationship trouble due to Wilson's political duty.

If this scoop is true, it is an interesting tidbit about one of the new characters that we will meet in the series and it could potentially set up some conflict between Matt and Heather since we know that the former obviously has a beef with Wilson.

The only unanswerable question regarding Matt's romantic life at this point is whether he broke up with Jennifer Walters before the events of the series since the end of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law suggested that he and Jennifer were seemingly starting to date.

Given that it will take a long time before we get to see the series, all we can have for now is an alleged scoop like this surrounding its story and, whether it is true or not, it is giving us a tease of what we can expect in Matt Murdock's solo series especially as part of the MCU.

Disney+ and Marvel Studios have not set a new release window yet for Daredevil: Born Again.
