Without a doubt, medical dramas always have a lot of potential with regard to their storyline. So even though Daily Dose of Sunshine only has 12 episodes, there's lots of room for the show to expand on. Will there be a Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 2?
More importantly, is Daily Dose of Sunshine capable of following the example of long-running medical dramas like Gray's Anatomy or Dr. Romantic? Here's what we know.

If the show gains enough numbers, it's possible that it will get renewed by Netflix and a second season will be ordered.
Once this happens, the earliest we can expect Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 2 to come out might be in 2025.

What Will Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 2 Story Be About?
The first season of Daily Dose of Sunshine gave its viewers a look into Jung Da-eun's (played by Park Bo-young) life as she makes the transition to the psychiatry ward from internal medicine.
The show also carefully highlights each patient's experience and the mental illness they are experiencing. It helps break barriers and humanize these characters beyond their diagnosis.
If Daily Dose of Sunshine should return for a second season, we hope that the show will continue in its creative way of depicting these illnesses without putting judgment on the characters who played them.
As for Da-eun's personal life, we hope that she will become a more resilient and braver character who will learn to appreciate herself. We're also hoping that she will gain a love life in the second season.
We're still waiting for the show to be renewed for a second season so there's no trailer available yet. In the meantime, you can watch this clip of Park Bo-young inviting her fans to watch the show:
