Park Bo-young as Jung Da-eun
Park Bo-young stars in Daily Dose of Sunshine as Jung Da-eun, a compassionate and innocent nurse. She transferred from internal medicine to the psychiatric ward of Myung Shin University Hospital.
Her transfer came as a shock to the current nurses at the psychiatric ward, especially since it wasn't common for a third-year resident to transfer. The reason behind her transfer leads her co-workers to gossip behind her back.
Bo-young is famous for starring in Strong Girl Do Bong-soon. She has starred in several other shows as well, such as Doom at Your Service, Abyss, and Oh My Ghost.
Yeon Woo-jin as Dong Go-yun
Yeon Woo-jin stars in the show as a proctologist fellow named Dong Go Yun. He is an eccentric character with a weird habit of cracking his knuckles. He visits a doctor for this habit since he believes he has OCD.
The doctor advises him to pick a hobby or focus on something he likes. Strangely enough, he seems to forget about his habit whenever Nurse Da-eun is around.
Woo-jin gained recognition for his role in Arang and the Magistrate. He has also starred in other Kdramas like Divorce Lawyer in Love, Marriage, Not Dating, Introverted Boss, and many more.
Jang Dong-yoon as Song Yu-chan
Everybody dreams of having the perfect best friend. And in Daily Dose of Sunshine, Jang Dong-yoon's character, Song Yu-chan, is exactly that.
Yu-chan and Da-eun have been best friends since elementary school. He previously studied medicine but couldn't get in so he decided to work at his parents' chicken restaurant.
Dong-yoon has starred in School 2017, The Tale of Nokdu, and Search.
Lee Jung-eun as Song Hyo-sin
Da-eun reports to Song Hyo-sin (played by Lee Jung-eun), the head nurse in the Mental Health Department. Jung-eun plays a veteran nurse who understands her patients and maturely deals with office gossip.
She is a friend to her fellow nurses and helps guide Da-eun while she adjusts to the differences between the psychiatric ward and internal medicine.
Jung-eun has starred in Parasite, Juvenile Justice, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, and many more.
