Alongside the exclusive fan premiere of Episode 1 in Tokyo, MAPPA revealed that the Chainsaw Man anime will have unique endings for each episode.

This means every episode of the upcoming anime series will not only have a different ending song, but the animation will also change.

The unique endings were announced along with the opening theme reveal, as well as a new trailer and more cast member additions. The full list of songs was also shared on the official Chainsaw Man Twitter account.

Check out the action-packed new trailer here:

The show’s opening theme is entitled “KICK BACK” and is performed by Kenshi Yonezu, a popular Japanese singer who also performed “Peace Sign” which is the second opening song of the My Hero Academia anime.

Meanwhile, here are the 12 endings of Chainsaw Man:

  • “HAWATARI NIKU CENTI” ("2-hundred-million-centimeter-long blades”) by MAXIMUM THE HORMONE
  • “ALL KINDS OF KISSES” by ano
  • “Fight Song” by eve
  • “Deep Down” by Aimer
  • “Rendezvous” by Kanaria
  • “In the Back Room” by syudou
  • “Violence” by QUEEN BEE
  • “Time Left” by ZUTOMAYO
  • “first death” by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure
  • “tablet” by TOOBOE

Take note that the list above is not representative of the order that the endings will be used. Plus, MAXIMUM THE HORMONE’s song “HAWATARI NIKU CENTI” will also be used as an insert song.

This ending theme artist list is stacked with lots of big-name artists. For instance, Aimer is the singer of Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc’s “Zankyosanka” while eve performed the Jujutsu Kaisen opening theme “Kaikai Kitan”.

Aside from these two, TK from Ling Tosite Sigure is known for singing Tokyo Ghoul’s iconic opening theme, “Unravel.”

There’s also MAXIMUM THE HORMONE, the band behind the Death Note anime’s second opening “What's Up, People!”

Aside from the stacked artist list, fans will also be treated to unique ending animations for each episode, meaning fans shouldn’t skip the endings after each episode’s airing. Though there’s no preview yet of what to expect when it comes to the ending animations.
