Who Are the Characters in Captain Laserhawk?

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is a six-episode anime inspired by Far-Cry 3: Blood Dragon animation, which features Ubisoft’s most established and notable characters.

The anime is set in 1992, when Eden has completely overtaken the United States of America and turned it into a dystopian social credit propaganda surveillance state.

The core of the story is Dolph Laserhawk, Eden’s ex-super soldier, who winds up at a maximum-security prison called Supermaxx, where he leads a group of outcasts under the orders of the Warden, aka Sarah Fisher.

Here are all the characters that appeared in Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix!

  1. Dolph Laserhawk

Dolph Laserhawk is the titular protagonist of Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. He used to work for Eden but has since turned against his former superiors after knowing his ex-boyfriend, Alex Taylor.

He joined Alex as a fugitive, antagonizing Eden’s megacity from one incident to another.

He doesn’t want fame, money, or power; he only wants to live in peace away from the chaos brought by Eden to the world, and be with the one he loves the most.

However, Dolph Laserhawk was sent to Supermaxx, where he became the first in command of a group of misfits called the Ghosts.

  2. Alex Taylor

Alex Taylor is Dolph Laserhawk’s ex-boyfriend. He betrayed Dolph to achieve his much bigger cause of changing the world.

Ultimately, Alex wants to burn Eden down to ashes, and to do this, he believes that he needs to sacrifice a lot of innocent people’s lives, especially the hybrids, which Dolph obviously rejected.

  3. Sarah Fisher

Sarah Fisher, also known as The Warden, is one of the main antagonists of the anime.

She was supposed to be on good terms with Dolph Laserhawk by the end of the series, but not until we saw her flexing those cybernetic spider-like legs.

As a child, Sarah has shown her complete loyalty and trust to Eden. She was born in the Wasteland, so it was inevitable that she wanted to live in the megacity where Eden reigns supreme.

  4. Jade

Jade is one of Sarah Fisher’s pawns. She is also one of the prisoners at Supermaxx who became a member of The Ghosts.

She is extremely close with Pey’j, but she only sees him as a father or an uncle figure, despite knowing how the latter feels about her.

Unfortunately, Jade died in the first few episodes of Captain Laserhawk. She was killed by Pagan Min, who shot her in the chest.

Dolph also had to plead with the Warden to activate the bomb inside Jade’s head to help them escape from Pagan Min.

  5. Pey’j

Pey’j is also one of the Ghosts who teamed up with Dolph, Bullfrog, Jade, and the Warden.

He has feelings for Jade, whom he has cared for for a very long time, ever since her parents died. He acts like Jade’s father figure, but deep inside, he wants more with her.

Pey’j is an anthropomorphic pig who died saving his fellow hybrids. He was shot multiple times by Eden police, who thought he was going to harm other humans.

  6. Bullfrog

Bullfrog is yet another member of the Ghosts who was forced to do high-risk missions for the Warden. Unlike the other members of Ghosts, Bullfrog is more fun, outgoing, carefree, and logical.

His words of wisdom are very reasonable, which resonated with other characters in the series, such as Dolph and even Rayman himself.

Bullfrog is an anthropomorphic frog who is also a deadly assassin capable of overpowering fellow assassins, regardless if they are in a group or not.

  7. Niji Six

Niji Six acts like the heroes of Eden’s megacity. They resemble the Power Rangers, who are always on the go to stop evil forces.

But in Captain Laserhawk, Niji Six, particularly Red, who was voiced by Adi Shankar, frequently intervenes between Dolph Laserhawk and his comrades.

Unfortunately, the Niji Six can’t win against Dolph or even Alex Taylor. They may look strong, but they’re not strong enough to bring down Captain Laserhawk.

  8. Marcus Holloway

Marcus Holloway also played a major role in the story. He was originally a hacker who was a member of the hacktivist collective known as DedSec.

He was one of the first individuals to meet Little Sarah, who eventually became one of his biggest enemies.

  9. Rayman

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix will not be complete without Rayman, Eden’s mascot and official MC.

He considers himself the face of Eden since he has a lot on his plate: TV commercials, late-night shows, and even a biopic!

Rayman’s character has one of the best developments in the anime. He was initially living in his bubble, not caring about anyone or anything outside of it.

But after he was fired by the Board of Directors, Rayman changed for the better.

Here Are the Other Characters That Appeared in Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix

Apart from the main characters, we also saw the following characters in the anime:

  • T-Bone is Marcus Holloway’s close friend, and he's also a genius hacker.
  • Sam Fisher is Sarah Fisher’s father, who rescued Marcus Holloway from the never-ending punishment at the VR Facility.
  • Pagan Min is an eccentric syndicate leader who is involved in dealing with drugs, money laundering, and so on. He died early in the anime.
  • Cody Rhodes makes a cameo appearance at Supermaxx. He winds up getting his head blown into pieces by The Warden.
  • Kenny Omega is a wrestler in the anime as well.
  • The Rabbids were summoned by Alex Taylor to wreak havoc against humanity but were later taken care of by the Niji Six.
