Plunge into a new dystopian society where the United States has become a technocracy called Eden in 1992.
Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix is set in an alternate timeline where Eden, a mega-corporation, has taken over North America and is ruled by corruption and propaganda.
The influence of automation has been immense, resulting in massive unemployment.
To pull the population out of poverty, Eden introduced the Universal Basic Income policy, which devolves a dystopian society into a social credit propaganda surveillance state.
The story centers around Dolph Laserhawk, an ex-super soldier who was betrayed by his ex-lover, Alex Taylor, and was then sent to a maximum-security prison called Supermaxx.
Interestingly, the Warden at Supermaxx forced Dolph Laserhawk to lead a group of outcasts, which includes an anthropomorphic frog and pig, on high-risk undercover missions.
While Dolph Laserhawk is a badass and arrogant character with crazy abilities on the surface, inside he is lost and completely confused with himself.
Will There Be a Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix Season 2?
As of writing, Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix Season 2 has not yet been confirmed by Netflix or Adi Shankar himself.
But there’s a huge possibility that the anime will be renewed for a second season similar to Adi Shankar’s Castlevania, which spanned four anime adaptations and, most recently, a spin-off series.
