Who Is Dolph Laserhawk’s Love Interest?

At the beginning of the anime, Dolph Laserhawk is in a relationship with Alex Taylor. They are partners in crime working for the same cause, or so Dolph thought they were.

The two of them met in front of Prism Club, a gay club where Dolph tried to rob Alex of everything he had.

Since then, Dolph and Alex have gotten to know each other, and it was not long before they became an item.

Eventually, Dolph and Alex become outlaws, terrorizing Eden’s Mega City with their high-risk endeavors for their gain.

However, Alex Taylor had another goal in mind, contradicting Dolph’s dreams for both of them.

Alex wanted to burn Eden down to nothing, which, in the process, would terminate hundreds and thousands of innocent people, including the vast majority of hybrid aliens.

He wanted to change the world; he was willing to sacrifice so much life to achieve his cause.

This created a problem between Dolph and Alex. At some point, Alex had to betray Dolph to further his dreams for the world.

Yes, Alex Taylor is in love with Dolph Laserhawk. He loves everything about Dolph, including his beautiful face, combat prowess, and even his cybernetic arm.

However, Alex is not one to be easily content. He wanted so much more than to be at peace with Dolph.

They were supposed to run away together and leave Mega City the moment they obtained the codec, at which point they were risking their lives at the beginning of the anime.

Everything changed after Alex betrayed Dolph. He went on his own and left Alex in the dirt.

In their next encounter, Dolph was now a member of The Warden’s Ghosts, who were coming after Alex Taylor’s life.

They had a small talk on the rooftop, where Alex tried to make some sense to Dolph.

He wanted Alex to understand his cause, even though it was obvious that the events that were unfolding in front of them were not in Dolph’s interest.

No, Dolph Laserhawk and Alex Taylor did not end up together in Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. Dolph killed Alex on the rooftop to stop his plans to change the world.

But before Alex died, he created chaos between humans and hybrids, which thoroughly affected Dolph, Bullfrog, and most especially Pey'j, who died saving his comrades.

By the end of the series, Dolph had a dream-like encounter with Alex in the VR facility, courtesy of Marcus Holloway.

He found himself in the arms of Alex, who encouraged him to let loose and have fun with him for a while on the beach along with his recently deceased comrades like Cody Rhodes, Jade, and even Pey’j.

Dolph Laserhawk did not end up with anyone in the anime, and his status is still unknown—whether he died or lived due to the explosion of the bomb implanted by the Warden (Sarah Fisher) on his head.
