Brie Larson is already no stranger to rumors surrounding her MCU exit and for the longest time, the Captain Marvel actress has been the subject of reports claiming she's putting an end to her tenure as Carol Danvers.
Last year, the star of The Marvels fueled speculation after offering a wry response regarding her future in the billion-dollar franchise. Well, it looks like Larson isn't going anywhere and is still committed to the MCU.

Brie Larson Teases Future as Captain Marvel: "There is Still So Much Inside of Carol"
Now, if you think The Marvels' box office performance is enough to deter the Oscar-winning star, think again. Despite the ongoing reports surrounding Larson's MCU future, she herself teased what's next for Carol Danvers.
Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Brie made her intentions that she wants to stay in the MCU, although it remains to be seen when we'll see Carol Danvers again. She said: "I don't want Marvel to come for me. But there is something. There is definitely something, to answer your question, that I would want to say, but I am not going to."
Larson added: "I think there is still so much inside of Carol. I feel like getting to be on this team just cracked her open in a way that she hadn't been, and I really loved that for her. I just loved her letting the shoulders drop a little bit, and not need to feel like all the responsibility was on her. So I think that there is just so much more to go.

It's safe to say that the next time we see Danvers, she's once again teaming up with the rest of the Avengers to fight a larger threat. For now, it looks like Larson will be on an extended break until Marvel Studios comes calling.
