Despite the lack of a second season, Bocchi fans in Japan can still look forward to new activities and merch. Along with an upcoming play, Bocchi the Rock! just revealed a new Family Mart collab that features maid-themed goodies.
This isn’t the first time that the Kessoku Band has donned maid outfits, but the collab doesn’t just reuse the cast’s maid looks from the anime, as a new visual was made just for this collab.
Bocchi the Rock! Continues to Get New Projects and Collabs
Bocchi the Rock! wasn’t exactly a hyped-up show ahead of its release in Fall 2022, but it quickly became one of the season’s biggest hits. So much so that Bocchi became one of the most popular shows of the entire year.
Despite the show’s popularity, Aniplex and CloverWorks have yet to announce a second season.
Fans believe that the show’s unexpected success is the reason it hasn’t been renewed yet.
Though the fact that the anime continues to get new merch and projects indicate that a second season will be made sometime in the future.
For instance, a Bocchi the Rock! stage play was announced just recently, and it will run in Tokyo this August.
Then in Spring 2024, fans will be treated to a compilation film in Japanese cinemas.
On top of these, a wide range of Bocchi merch is available for pre-order now, including Nendoroids, deformed Hitori Gotoh figures, and many more.
While there are no figures in the collection, the new Family Mart collab is a must-have for fans in Japan given its cute new illustrations.

Bocchi the Rock! x Family Mart Collab Features Kessoku Band in Maid Outfits
The collab was unveiled last week on the Family Mart website. There, details about the collab were shared, including the special illustration featuring Hitori, Nijika, Ryo, and Kita.
Specifically, the illustration shows the four Kessoku Band members in green-and-white maid outfits – inspired by the Family Mart convenience store colors.
Following the announcement, the collab’s merch was highlighted by Nijika VA Sayumi Suzushiro, who revealed some of the goodies on her personal Twitter account.
The collab features merch such as clear files, canvas art, pass-cases, and more, all of which feature the new maid illustration.
Fans can get these goodies as freebies by purchasing select Family Mart items during the collab.
