While a new season wasn’t announced, Bocchi the Rock! fans are in for a treat as the Kessoku Band will hold a live concert in Tokyo this May.
Yesterday, a special Bocchi the Rock! stage event happened in Tokyo, which featured appearances from the four main voice actresses.
While fans were hoping for a second season announcement, it wasn’t confirmed there.
However, the event still featured some exciting reveals, including an upcoming Kessoku Band single release, along with new Bocchi merch that are available to order now.
Bocchi the Rock! April Stage Event Announcements
The recent stage event featured Yoshino Aoyama (Bocchi), Sayumi Suzushiro (Nijika), Saku Mizuno (Ryo), and Ikumi Hasegawa (Kita).
There, the four VAs presented some interesting announcements and did a live performance.
Given that stage events like these typically feature new season announcements, many fans were hoping for Season 2 to be announced.
Sadly, that was not the case, so fans will have to wait a bit longer for the anime to continue.
Still, there are still things to look forward to, including an upcoming single, a live concert, and lots of new merch.
A Kessoku Band album may have already been released back in December, but now, a new single will be launched in May. This single CD is titled Into the Light and will feature two brand-new songs.
The single will be released in Japan on May 24, 2023. And to celebrate, a live concert will be held days before the CD’s release.
As a bonus, lots of new merch were also revealed, including actual zip ties.
These merch are now available for pre-order on the Aniplex+ website.

Kessoku Band Live Concert Happening in May
The highlight of the stage event is no doubt the upcoming live performance.
While the stage event already saw a performance of the anime’s songs, this next event is a full-blown concert.
Specifically, the concert will once again feature appearances from the four voice actresses.
While Hasegawa will sing the songs, other musicians will perform the instruments.
To celebrate the concert, a new visual was released, featuring the anime’s main characters:
The Bocchi the Rock! concert is happening on May 21, 2023, at ZEPP Haneda in Tokyo.
Tickets are priced at JPY 8,800 (around USD 65.5), though they will only be available via a lottery system due to high demand.
For those who can’t secure tickets, the concert will be livestreamed, with online viewing tickets priced at JPY 4,130 (around USD 30).
