Ryo Yamada’s funny money-making scheme has jumped to real life as a new set of Bocchi the Rock! merch was revealed following a recent stage event, and it features Kessoku Band zip ties.
Yesterday, a Bocchi stage event happened in Japan. And while it didn’t feature the much-anticipated Season 2 announcement, it did reveal an exciting concert that will treat fans of the anime in Japan.
Kessoku Band Concert and Performance Broadcast Announcement
The stage event was already a concert-like experience, but to give more fans a chance to enjoy the Kessoku Band’s songs live, a new Bocchi the Rock! concert is happening this May.
This concert will take place at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo on May 21, 2023.
While the venue can fit over 2,700 people, the demand is expected to be high enough that tickets will only be available via a lottery system.
Aside from giving fans a chance to watch the Bocchi voice cast perform live, the concert is also a celebration of the upcoming single that will release on May 24. This single will include two brand-new songs.
For those who won’t be able to attend live, the concert will be livestreamed, with live viewing tickets to be sold soon.
As a bonus, it was also announced that a special broadcast of a studio recording will be shown on three large screens across Japan.
These include the Shinjuku Yunika Vision in Tokyo, Osaka Tombori Station, and Nagoya NAGY.

Bocchi the Rock! Reveals New Merch, Including 500 Yen Zip Ties
In the anime, Ryo proposes that the band should sell branded zip ties worth 500 Yen (as Kessoku Band also means 'zip tie' in Japanese).
While it was clearly a joke, it seems that Aniplex isn’t playing around with it.
Following the event, a new range of Bocchi the Rock! merch was revealed, including Kessoku Band-themed zip ties that are now available for pre-order on the Aniplex+ web store priced at 500 Yen (around 3 USD) each.
While it seems like a rip-off at first, these aren’t exactly your average plastic zip ties.
Instead, they are made of rubber and are only designed to look like zip ties. This should mean they’ll last longer.
Aside from these zip ties, there are also other Bocchi merch such as guitar picks, coasters, can badges, and more.
