Ever since Disney began planning their budget plans, Marvel Phase 5 has been the slowest era for the MCU and Multiverse Saga.
Not only has the MCU delayed releasing multiple movies and series, but the ongoing WGA writers’ strike isn’t helping their case, either.
Not to mention, another MCU series had to halt production amid the strike, the series named Wonder Man, seeing as the strikers practically crowded the site in lieu of their cause.
This ended up with Marvel officially deciding to release only two series for 2023 and those are Loki Season 2 and Secret Invasion.
Now, another MCU series has been delayed, unfortunately, and that is the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever spinoff series, Ironheart.
According to Variety’s new list of scheduled releases of upcoming MCU films and series, Ironheart is now expected to premiere sometime in 2024.
See, the Black Panther spinoff was initially supposed to get its release window by fall of 2023, as confirmed back at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.
However, this change of dates is not surprising now at all, given the current circumstance of juggling the strike and of course, which part of the MCU should be prioritized first in securing its release date.

Should Disney and Marvel stick to their recently revealed schedule, then there is no doubt that Ironheart will be right up our list sooner or later.
Ever since Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) made her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, she became one of the leading spinoffs teased after the sequel film premiere.
Considering that the Dominique Thorne-led series had already finished filming back in 2022, it is only a matter of time before we could get our hands on first looks, teasers, and eventually, its official trailer.
For now, Ironheart is reportedly expected to release on Disney+ sometime in 2024 rather than this late 2023.
