2024 is filled with a whole new batch of movies and TV shows to watch out for, and one of them happens to be Paramount's modern-day iteration of the 2004 cult classic Mean Girls. Who is Bebe Wood and Where Have You Seen Her Before?
We're seeing a lot of new faces in the 2024 reimagining of Mean Girls and one of them happens to be Bebe Wood. So, before we see what role she's playing in Tina Fey's newest spin on the cult classic, here's where you may have seen the actress before.
Before starring in Mean Girls, Bebe Wood played various roles in TV series such as The New Normal as Shania Clemmons, in The Real O'Neals as Shannon O'Neal, and most recently, in Love, Victor as Lake Meriwether.
Wood has also dabbled in voice acting for playing the role of Shannon Longhannon, who is one of the recurring characters from the Tales of Arcadia franchise. As for Mean Girls, Wood will be taking a bigger role as one of the main stars of the film.

Bebe Wood is Gretchen in the 2024 Mean Girls
Tina Fey may be part of the 2024 iteration of Mean Girls, but we're also meeting an entirely new cast breathing new life into Cady and The Plastics.
While the flick may be bringing back the same iconic jokes and Burn Book, this Mean Girls is, as the trailer said it, not the Mean Girls we grew up knowing.
In this case, we're seeing Reneé Rapp as Regina George, Avantika Vandanapu as the new Karen Smith, and lastly, Bebe Wood playing Gretchen.
Though we have yet to see the extent of how Bebe's Gretchen is different from the original, we'll just have to see once it makes its theatrical debut this January.
Meanwhile, the official synopsis for the 2024 Mean Girls reads:
From the comedic mind of Tina Fey comes a new twist on the modern classic, MEAN GIRLS. New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika).
However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis (Auli’i Cravalho) and Damian (Jaquel Spivey), she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.
