What's up with Austin McBroom's recent Snapchat content? Fans are worried that the ACE Family YouTuber is greatly affected by his divorce from his partner, Catherine Paiz. Here's what happened.

Who is Austin McBroom? Meet the ACE Family YouTuber

Austin McBroom and Catherine Paiz are the husband and wife duo running their family channel, The ACE Family, since 2016.

The channel garnered a total of 18.4M subscribers thanks to content about their family life, playing pranks on one another, as well as their life update vlogs.

However, things started going south when the new year came around.

Fans were distraught when they found out the disheartening news. On January 12, 2024, YouTubers Catherine and Austin McBroom announced they officially filed for divorce on January 11.

As Catherine wrote in her Instagram post, she decided to "challenge herself" this year by making one of the most difficult decisions in her life: to get a divorce.

Although she clearly stated that she and Austin "mutually agreed" to part ways, fans are quite worried about how this would affect the man both personally and professionally.

To be more straightforward, this has something to do with the 'strange' and 'unhinged' content Austin McBroom has been making on his Snapchat account.

What's Up with Austin McBroom's Snapchat? Is He Okay?

In his recent Snaps, Austin was seen "trying" to get a job at CVS earlier this month. He even resorted to using his platform to sell 'all-you-can-drink' Lemonades with his booth on the streets.

At one point, Austin posted a snap of a crying picture of himself with the caption, "I need help", leading fans to speculate on the potential root cause of the strange postings: he's not taking his divorce well.

Despite the separation, Austin said he started living in an RV outside his ex-wife's house. He explained that this was "the best he can do for now" so he could live close to his three children.

His posts are questionable, and whether or not these skits are intended to grow his Snapchat engagement or he's actually going through something, some fans are beginning to think that it's a publicity stunt.

If anything, fans think that he's only doing these "skits" for views and a way of earning money for himself.

Keep in mind that this is purely speculation from fans, especially since Austin has yet to address what his Snapchat stories are supposed to mean.

It is worth mentioning though that Snapchat users can get rewarded for consistently sharing stories. Creators have to post their Public Story for 10 days, each with "at least 20 Snaps each day over the past 28 days."

How Much is Austin McBroom's Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, as of February 2024, Austin McBroom is worth $2 Million.

This is thanks to his social media presence with over 7 million followers on Instagram and over 1 million followers on TikTok. McBroom is also a former basketball player.

Not to mention, the ACE Family has more than 4 billion views, which begs the question, is Austin McBroom 'broke' in real life? Are his Snapchat content features meant to be his new way of earning income?

The most we can rely on is Catherine's words on how she thinks Austin is doing after the separation, "I'm grateful to be evolved because his behavior and coping mechanism [are] beyond me."

As of writing, Austin has yet to explain what the deal is with his recent online posts.
