When is Lisa Frankenstein Set?
This "coming-of-rage" story is set in the 1980s as we follow the story of Kathryn Newton's Lisa who revives her crush, Cole Sprouse's character creature from the afterlife.
Considering that the horror comedy is set in the colorful Eighties, it's no wonder that the main song featured in Lisa Frankenstein's trailer is "The Promise" by British band, When in Rome.
"The Promise" was the band's debut single which was first released in 1988, setting the tone for the entire film. Unsurprisingly, this isn't the only 80s song featured in its soundtrack.
This includes "Head Over Heels" by Blue Peter, "Strange" by Galaxie 500, and "Up the Down Escalator" by The Chameleons, to mention a few.
