To celebrate the day of love, several popular anime shared adorable and heartwarming Valentine’s Day artworks, including shows such as Lycoris Recoil, The Quintessential Quintuplets, and more.

Back in Christmas and New Year, many anime celebrated the holidays with special artwork.

While Valentine’s Day isn’t as widely celebrated as other holidays, a fair number of shows still marked Hearts' Day with special artwork.

When Valentine’s Day is mentioned, it’s likely that anime fans will think of romance shows. Today, many such anime celebrated Valentine’s with special commemorative art.

One artwork that got a lot of attention was from Lycoris Recoil, which is not a straight-up romance series.

Still, there’s a convincing argument to be made that there is something romantic going on between Chisato and Takina.

Whether they get together or not, what we can say for certain is that LycoReco’s Valentine’s Day art is perfect, as it looks straight out of the anime.

Another popular anime that celebrated the holiday is More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. This is no surprise given that the series is a popular rom-com.

The artwork features the two heroines, Akari Watanabe and Shiori Sakurazaka, each holding Valentine’s Day chocolate.

Aside from these two, other notable shows that celebrated the day include The Quintessential Quintuplets and The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague.

While these shows are expected to share the love today given their romantic stories, there are some unexpected shows that also celebrated Valentine’s Day.

Surprisingly, even Vinland Saga is celebrating Hearts' Day with a special visual, albeit one that isn’t as lovey-dovey or as sweet as the others.

Specifically, the anime shared an image featuring cute chibi versions of Thorfinn and company, asking fans to whom they would give chocolates to from the show’s cast.

There was even a tweet with a poll featuring the four characters in the art.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Thorfinn currently has the lead with over 50% of the votes.

Along with Vinland Saga, other series such as The Dangers in My Heart, TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, and Is the Order a Rabbit? are also celebrating Valentine's Day.

Surprisingly, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War has not yet shared a special Hearts' Day post on social media.

Though fans in the US will still be treated to today’s Kaguya-sama cinema release.
