After its release in Japan back in December, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss Never Ends- is finally coming to US and Canada in time for Valentine's Day.
While its release will be limited compared to the theatrical runs of movies like Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Kaguya-sama fans can at least secure their tickets now to the US and Canada screenings.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War's Popularity
Kaguya-sama is one of the most popular romantic-comedy anime series in recent years. It is also among the most well-received, as the show’s third season is the fifth highest-rated anime of all time.
This third season was met with critical acclaim thanks to the fact that it has an excellent ending.
While the story continues after this part in the manga source material, the third season’s finale is already satisfying by itself.
While the manga ended just a few months ago as well, the anime’s story will continue with this upcoming Kaguya-sama: Love Is War movie.
Announced following the Season 3 finale, this new anime movie is entitled The First Kiss Never Ends.
As its title implies, this movie follows the manga arc of the same name, which deals with the aftermath of Season 3’s climax.
The arc is set during Christmastime, making its December Japanese release perfect.
While the holidays are already over, American and Canadian fans can watch the film at the next possible time – Valentine’s Day.

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss Never Ends- US Cinema Tickets
The Kaguya-sama: Love Is War anime film is the first of its kind for the series, as the previous anime projects have all been TV anime shows.
Despite being screened in cinemas though, the movie will also get a Japanese TV broadcast soon.
It’s not yet known if the movie will be released in its original format or if it will be cut into TV episodes like the Mugen Train film. There’s also no word yet on a streaming release for the film outside Japan.
However, given the series’ popularity, and the fact that it’s only screening in cinemas for a limited time, it is likely going to be released on platforms like Crunchyroll in the future.

The movie’s US and Canadian releases will feature Japanese audio with English subtitles.
