Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Ahsoka Episode 4, so read at your own risk!
Considering that Ahsoka is set around the same timeline as The Mandalorian and the other live-action shows that are part of the "MandoVerse," fans have been wondering about whether the new series will crossover will them at some point.
While it might be seen as some cheap fan service, it would also be a logical move for them to bring characters from the other shows to show up for an extended cameo and have a part in one of the storylines.
Prior to the recent fourth episode, the only major connection that they have made so far with the other live-action shows is the appearance of Mon Mothma, one of the main characters in the prequel series Andor, during the third episode.
Now, another character from another live-action series has made an appearance in the new series and it's someone who we frequently see in The Mandalorian.
Carson Teva Makes an Appearance in Ahsoka Episode 4
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee made his latest appearance as Captain Carson Teva during the recent fourth episode of Ahsoka. He is the first recurring character from The Mandalorian who showed up in the series.
Lee first appeared during the second season of The Mandalorian where his character is seen flying an X-wing plane on various occasions when he crosses paths with Din Djarin.
He eventually made more appearances in The Book of Boba Fett and the third season of The Mandalorian, where he had a more prominent presence as he became one of the key figures that we follow in the New Republic side of the story.
During the middle of the fourth episode of Ahsoka, Hera, Jacen, and Chopper decide to leave the New Republic ship without authorization and fly away through the Ghost ship to help her friends who are in peril.
She was assisted by a group of X-wing pilots including Carson and they leaped into the hyperspace.
As they arrive in Seatos, Hera is able to contact Huyang and they discover that Morgan, Baylen, and Shin (with Sabine also on board) are about to use the Eye of Sion to jump into the hyperspace.
Morgan ignored the fleet's presence in their path and decided to proceed on their hyperspace which left the planes battered. Fortunately, all pilots were able to survive the damage.
It was great to see Carson in the episode and be part of the X-wing pilot team which makes a lot of sense since The Mandalorian has shown how active he is in his work throughout the galaxy.
While his screen time was not as big as his appearances in the third season of The Mandalorian, it does show us the connectivity of the live-action shows and perhaps a sign that we might expect more mini-crossovers like this in future episodes.

Let's wait and see in the coming weeks whether Carson Teva appears again or more characters from The Mandalorian will show up for a quick cameo.
