Anthony Daniels recently made his surprise return as C-3PO in the seventh episode of Ahsoka during its cold open and a lot of fans celebrated his comeback to the Star Wars franchise to deliver another scene-stealing moment.

The fan-favorite droid came to the scene as Hera Syndulla was being grilled by New Republic senator Hamata Xiono about her unsanctioned mission in Seatos and he showed up to represent Leia Organa and provide data that proved that Hera's mission was sanctioned by her.

It marked the first time that an original trilogy cast member made an appearance in the series. Some fans are starting to wonder whether they have another surprise in store in the upcoming season finale.

Now, days after the episode's airing, the actor has finally addressed his much-celebrated cameo appearance in the series.

In his recent post on X, Daniels addressed his surprise cameo appearance in the seventh episode of Ahsoka where he commented on the cast and crew and thanked the fans for the kind responses that he received.

"I was so pleased to shine briefly in the iconic Ahsoka - had such a perfect time with the lovely cast and crew on set, in the amazing Volume - and now, so touched by the kind comments from viewers who appreciated 3PO being there for the beloved princess. Thank you. Everyone," he said.

A lot of fans responded to Daniels' post by thanking him back and sharing their enthusiastic reactions once again to his surprise appearance.

Daniels is no stranger to making appearances in other Star Wars media outside the Skywalker Saga films since he also voiced the character in animated shows and briefly made a cameo appearance last year in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

There's no doubt that his surprise cameo made a lot of fans happy since he is a remnant of the original trilogy and his appearance also felt like a tribute to Carrie Fisher, whose iconic character still resonates within the current Star Wars stories.

It's interesting to see if Daniels will make another appearance in the season finale or if it's just a one-off. Nevertheless, fans are just happy to see him again even for a brief moment.
