Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best recently teased an upcoming Star Wars return in a future project.

The actor has been a staple in the Star Wars franchise ever since he first played the polarizing CGI character in The Phantom Menace.

In the recent years, he ventured to another role as he also played Jedi Master Kelleran Beq in the game show Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge and the third season of The Mandalorian in a surprise guest appearance.

In his recent post on Instagram, Best revealed that he is working on a new Star Wars project.

He doesn't provide any details on the secret project that he is involved in, but he is shown to be wearing a motion-capture performance suit.

"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. #mocap #starwars #jarjarbinks #activision #jedi #sithlord #kelleranbeq," Best wrote in his caption.

It is likely that Best was working on a Star Wars video game since it's the usual type of project that requires motion-capture performance.

However, some fans can't help but bring up the idea that he could be reprising the role of Jar Jar Binks in the project since it is the kind of character that can also be done through motion-capture as well.

If we could make a guess, it is more likely that it will be a different character or he will play Kelleran Beq again, who might be making his appearance in a video game.

Nevertheless, it is exciting to see that Best is continuing his involvement in the franchise after years of receiving polarizing responses over his performance as Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy.

It will be another opportunity for him to redeem his tenure in the franchise and have more avenues to showcase his talent.
