Seeing as some of the Marvel Phase 5 shows have been reportedly delayed, a new rumor is now indicating that Agatha: Coven of Chaos is part of the list. The WandaVision spinoff has also previously faced multiple delays, with its initial release date being in Winter 2023, but has been reported to move sometime in 2025. Unfortunately, the Agatha spinoff has received yet another frustrating update on its release window.
While the Agatha spinoff continues to showcase some set photos of Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness and even Heartstopper’s Joe Locke as a new MCU character, the show’s release date has yet to receive confirmation.
Entertainment scooper KC Walsh has revealed that Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ premiere date has been changed to TBD (“To Be Determined”) by Marvel Studios, which all points to further delay from the 2023/2024 release window. It is important to take note that Walsh also hinted at one of the many reasons behind its delay: “due to story reasons”.

Marvel Studios previously revealed that they are pushing their TV show releases, which leaves Loki Season 2 and Secret Invasion being the only definite Marvel shows releasing this 2023. Other shows such as Echo and Ironheart have also been pushed back from their initial release dates.
For unknown reasons, the pushbacks on these MCU shows could potentially spark new ideas in connecting the MCU shows, perhaps even promising improved production on their end.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has officially opened the beginning of Marvel Phase 5 and received mediocre responses from both fans and critics, both of whom are demanding production change within the MCU. Marvel Studios might have to rethink their next move for the future of the MCU to move forward.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos has yet to officiate their show's release window, but in the meantime, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now showing in worldwide cinemas.
