Agatha: Coven of Chaos Adds Raising Dion and Orange is the New Black Actors to Its Cast

Marvel Studios is now preparing for the production of Agatha: Coven of Chaos as it is set to begin filming very soon and, for the last couple of days, we've been hearing a lot of casting news surrounding the series. Now, it looks like we have another one as more actors are being added to its growing ensemble.

Deadline has confirmed that Raising Dion star Ali Ahn and Orange is the New Black star Maria Dizzia are joining the cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos. As expected, the details regarding the respective roles that they're playing are being kept under wraps at the moment.

The cast already includes returning WandaVision actresses Kathryn Hahn and Emma Caulfield Ford as well as MCU newcomers Joe Locke and Aubrey Plaza, who is expected to play the villain. Jac Schaefer will also serve as the head writer of the series just like in WandaVision.

This latest casting news comes as the series is set to start filming next month according to some reports including recently from The Illuminerdi which claimed that the series will be in production from December until early summer next year.

Ahn and Dizzia are both actresses who have been involved in several TV shows and films where they played supporting characters. This is certainly a wonderful opportunity for them since it is potentially their biggest project yet and it is curious to see who they will play in the series.

This is one of the two WandaVision spinoff series that is currently in the works at Marvel Studios. It was recently revealed that they're also working on a Vision-centric series titled Vision Quest that is opening its writer's room this week. Schaefer is also serving as the head writer for that project.
