It was recently reported that Zoe Kravitz was cast as Catwoman for Matt Reeves' The Batman. However, an Instagram post of the actress prior to this announcement resurfaced, suggesting that she could have hinted the casting role a month before.

Back on September 15, Zoe Kravitz posted a picture of herself standing against a brick wall. She was wearing a vintage Batman logo from the 1970s. The photo was in black and white though and was one of her many black and white photos that week with the hashtag Gus Van Sant. You can check out the photo below.

Her post was with impeccable timing since it's roughly a month before the announcement. Not to mention the reports that went out earlier this month regarding Matt Reeves looking for a person of color to play Selina Kyle where she was considered as a good fit for the role.

Kravitz might have hinted the casting role but this is only a speculation. After all, a lot of celebrities post photos that were taken from unspecified dates so it's possible that Kravitz hasn't been asked for the role that time. Regardless, it is confirmed that she will be playing Catwoman and it's certainly interesting since she voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie.

The Batman will be released on June 25, 2021
