Zachary Levi Shares Fan-Edit of the Daily Planet's Perry White Reacting to Shazam!

WB had just released a new teaser for Shazam! and the preview had a scene where Billy and Freddy are talking to a realtor in search of a secret lair. What's cool is, Zachary Levi shares this fun edit of the two boys having a meeting with Clark Kent's boss, Perry White.

With the DCEU being its own expansive universe, I like seeing characters from two different franchises interacting with each other. Perry White in the films is very no-nonsense and serious, and it would be interesting to see just what kind of interaction he would have with a kid like Billy Batson. Levi absolutely crushes it in the role, and I can't wait to see more of him in the film.

As for Laurence Fishburne's Perry White, we don't know when we'll be seeing him again, but I hope WB manages to come up with a new Superman film once Walter Hamada is sure that the franchise is on the right track.

A full trailer for Shazam! was expected to drop this Tuesday, and it looks like that's still happening. The trailer was originally reported to come out last Saturday (Jan. 19), but DC decided to change its plans. It's likely that they didn't want to compete for attention with the release of the Spider-Man: Far from Home trailer.

Billy Batson is a streetwise 14-year-old who can magically transform into the adult superhero Shazam simply by shouting out one word. His newfound powers soon get put to the test when he squares off against the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

Catch Shazam! when it soars into theaters April 5.
