Zachary Levi Addresses Possible Shazam vs Black Adam Showdown with Dwayne Johnson

We already know that Black Adam will be joining the DC Extended Universe with his own movie. But what are the chances that we'll get to see an epic showdown between the anti-hero and Shazam? Zachary Levi has addressed the possibility of going up against Dwayne Johnson in an upcoming film.

Levi was recently a guest on Dan Fogler's 4D Xperience where he discussed Shazam: Fury of the Gods. Not surprisingly, the actor was also asked if it was possible that his DC comic book character will end up having to face Black Adam and Levi chose to play coy.

"That's well above my pay grade. I have no idea," Levi said. He then added that Johnson may have other things to be concerned about in his own movie.

"The Rock is his own planet. He kind of does whatever [he wants], The Rock does what The Rock wanna do. So we'll see how that all plays out," Levi said. "But per the comic books, Black Adam and Captain Marvel - my true namesake - they're yin and yang to one another. They are identical."

Of course, this is one of the reasons why people want to see Shazam and Black Adam together. Hopefully, we'll get an update on the showdown in the future.

Black Adam is scheduled for release on December 22, 2021. Shazam: Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
