With the show set to release globally on Netflix, the Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series is getting a new fashion line in collaboration with Japanese brand ZOZOTOWN.
As Yu Yu Hakusho is one of the iconic 90s anime, this new fashion collab features designs straight out of that era. The collection features tees with eye-catching graphics and some cool streetwear-style accessories.
With this, fans of the classic shonen have more ways to rep their fandom. Take note that these designs may be straight out of the 90s, but the graphics feature the new Netflix series.
Yu Yu Hakusho Fashion Collab Features Throwback Designs
Over the years, Netflix has commissioned multiple live-action adaptations of popular anime. Despite some misses like the Cowboy Bebop and Death Note projects, the streaming giant finally struck gold with One Piece.
Now, Netflix is keen on replicating its recent success, this time with a live-action adaptation of Yoshihiro Togashi’s Yu Yu Hakusho. Unlike One Piece, which was an international effort, this series is filmed and produced in Japan.
The show aims to grab a worldwide audience, though there seems to be a lot of effort in promoting the series in Japan. After all, the show teamed up with ZOZOTOWN, a brand that’s available only in Japan.
ZOZOTOWN’s Yu Yu Hakusho collection is an eye-catching new anime apparel line. The highlights of the collection are no doubt the 90s-style graphic tees.
As expected, there are four graphic tees, one for each Team Urameshi member. These include Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara.

ZOZOTOWN x Yu Yu Hakusho Netflix Line Available Now for Pre-Order
Pre-orders for the collection are now available in Japan, though graphic tees aren’t the only pieces available.
In total, there are seven types of items to choose from. These include a tote bag, graphic hoodie, towel, long-sleeve tee, and pins.
For many fans though, the must-have in this new fashion line is the baseball cap with a patch of Hiei’s Jagan eye. This is probably the piece with the most subtle design, making it a sleek wardrobe addition for fans.
This ZOZOTOWN fashion collab is available for pre-order in Japan now until January 8, 2024. Prices of the pieces start at JPY 2,200 (around USD 15).
Sadly for fans outside of Japan, there’s no word on whether this collection will be released internationally. Chances are that it won’t, considering that many collabs like this are Japan-exclusive.
At least, fans can watch the live-action series globally tomorrow, December 14.
