X-Men Blue Writer Teases The Return of (Adult) Cyclops

While there is a young version of the character alive and kicking, a lot of fans miss the adult version of Cyclops. The character was killed by the Terrigen Mists that the Inhumans keep so that they can bestow it upon their people, which was revealed to be deadly to mutants. Even though the character is dead, a lot of fans can't wait to see him return, with this being comics after all.

It looks like X-Men Blue writer Cullen Bunn has similar feelings since he might have just teased the return of Cyclops.

On Twitter, Bunn asked where the body of adult Cyclops is being kept, jokingly stating that it is for a friend. The last time we saw this version of Scott alive was during a brief moment in The Return of Jean Grey, even though it was only for a small while.

The time-displaced version of Cyclops is still around, often having adventures with the time-displaced versions of Beast, Angel, Jean Grey, and Iceman. He has vowed to not end up like his future himself, which has gotten a mixed response from fans.

X-Men Blue can be purchased on comic book stores and digital outlets. Expect more news about the possible resurrection of Cyclops soon.
