After months, maybe even years of waiting, we finally have our first look at Kristen Wigg's Cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984. It's kind of weird how we finally get a look at this villain and it's through merchandise, of all things. This is likely due to the constant delays that have plagued the movie but a set of stickers have made their way to the internet and we finally know what Wigg looks like as Cheetah.
To be honest, she looks pretty cool. Some fans online feel that she looks like a byproduct of Cats but that's not the case. Others wished she looked more monstrous like she does in the comic books but it seems like they wanted some of Wigg's face to make it in the transformation so they kept it. She looks fine, you guys.
Cheetah is one of the more interesting bad guys in Wonder Woman's rogues' gallery and she's arguably the most popular, appearing in a number of cartoons and video games. We're more surprised that she appeared in a sequel, rather than the original movie but now seems like a good time to introduce her.
Overall, this movie is shaping up to be pretty solid, at least from everything we've seen so far. Wonder Woman 1984 has moved its release date and will now be coming out in October.
