Yes, Mojo is an evil character from the Marvel Comics' X-Men.

As a character, Mojo is part of an immobile alien race that requires advanced technology to move. He is often referred to as one of the X-Men's "Spineless Ones."

He is a slaver from another dimension called the Mojoverse. In this dimension, he traps characters in his gladiator-like TV program. Once a character is deemed weak, he is killed off by Mojo.

In the original X-Men animated series, Mojo was voiced by Peter Wildman. His return in X-Men '97 also brings a new change to his voice.

He is now voiced by David Errigo, who is famous for lending his voice to Phineas and Ferb's Ferb.

But that's not the only thing Marvel changed with Mojo in X-Men '97.

Throughout the comics and the 90s animated series, Mojo has long been depicted as a morbidly obese, green, blob-like character. But in X-Men '97 episode 4, entitled Motendo/Lifedeath - Part 1, some differences can be clearly noticed.

Jubilee even mentions this change and says "looks like you've been dieting," to which the supervillain vents out his sad fate all this time.

So why is Mojo thin in X-Men '97? As Mojo himself reveals to Jubilee:

"It's been a terrible third quarter and it shows, let's be real. Ratings are down, down, down and I'm thirsty for the next big thing, dirty girl."

Thus, Mojo explains his "pivot" to the world of video games, which he refers to as the "future of mind-numbery."

We don't really know how Mojo got thinner in X-Men '97 but he did mention that he "got some nip and tuck."

Of course, it's possible that he was simply putting on a brave face but really had to go on a diet because of the losses he incurred from his TV program.

What kind of diet did Mojo go through, in your opinion? Let us know in a comment below.
