Considering Omni-Man and JJJ come from two different universes, a lot needs to be questioned. Why does Omni-Man look like JJJ from Spider-Man? The answer is pretty simple though: they're both played (and voiced) by J.K. Simmons.

But did you know that there's actually a fan theory on why these two characters look the same?

Reporters for Marvelous Movies have revealed that JJJ is actually Omni-Man. They wrote an entire article dedicated to answering why the two characters look similar.

One of the reasons they pointed out is that Omni-Man is actually JJJ on steroids, especially since not too many people sport their signature mustache in public.

The two characters are also portrayed as gruff and antagonistic mentors who also work as a supporting character to a main teenage superhero. Come to think of it, this is a really strong point for the coincidences between the two characters.

With this theory in place, it's about time that someone puts a stop to JJJ's anti-vigilante propaganda.

Unfortunately, there is no real reason why the two look similar. It could merely be a coincidence.

But considering the Invincible comic book was only published in 2003 and J.K. Simmons has been portraying JJJ's role since 2002, he could have been the inspiration behind the character concept. We'll have to update this article once more information becomes available.
