Master Yamaji is the clan master of the ninja assassins who are out on a killing spree in Ninja Kamui.
In the pilot episode, Yamaji debuted as the old man lurking in the shadows when a group of ninja assassins ambushed Higan’s family inside their house somewhere in rural America in the middle of the night.
Master Yamaji oversees the ninja clan and commands its member ninjas to hunt every exiled ninja to protect their secret ninja arts.
He believes that exiled ninjas are no longer considered ninjas and that they should be treated with the utmost animosity.
He also sees exiled ninjas as enemies the moment they defect from the clan. Since Higan is an exiled ninja, Yamaji is after his life.
He will use the ninja assassins in unimaginable ways to kill Higan for the sake of their clan.
What We Know about the Secret Ninja Arts in Ninja Kamui
Master Yamaji and all the ninjas of the clan know how important their secret ninja arts are.
In fact, they are not allowed to leave the clan, so those who want to disobey or defect will be branded exiles and be disposed of immediately.
