Bucchigiri introduces the Honki people, or Honkibito, to the viewers. One of them is Senya the Majin, who decided to merge with Arajin Tomoshibi. Another one is Ichiya, who later appeared with Shindo. So, who is Ichiya in Bucchigiri, and why did Senya call out this name?

Ichiya Appears behind Akutaro Shindo in Bucchigiri Like a JoJo Stand
Senya the Majin had a surprised expression on his face when he learned about Ichiya being in the same place as him in Bucchigiri. He never thought that he would immediately meet Ichiya in Honki City, of all places!
Out of all the characters in the series, Ichiya chose to merge with the emperor of the NG boys, Akutaro Shindo, who’s renowned for his underhanded methods and toxic personality.
When Shindo came face to face with Arajin for the first time, Ichiya appeared behind him like a JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure stand, which caught Senya off guard.
Noticeably, Ichiya has this very dark and intimidating atmosphere, as if a dark blue miasma is covering him.
It contradicts Senya’s light and fiery energy as if they are destined to face each other as rivals in the series.
Like Senya, Ichiya has a muscular build and djinn-like clothing, similar to the genie in Aladdin.
As of writing, not much is known about Ichiya, especially his powers and abilities.
So, Who Is Ichiya and Why Did Senya Call Out This Name in Bucchigiri?
Ichiya is a Honki person who resides inside Shindo Akutaro. His powers and abilities are unknown at the moment, but there were slight hints in the series that suggest Ichiya specializes in throwing kicks rather than punches against his opponents.
It’s also possible that Ichiya uses a whip like Shindo does.
So far, we all know that Senya has been searching for Ichiya and is looking forward to facing him in a match since the pilot episode.
Luckily, Senya faced Ichiya, made possible by Arajin, who faced Shindo in the latest episode (episode six).
They won the match, which delighted Senya, who couldn’t believe that Arajin could overpower someone who had Ichiya inside of him.
With the appearance of Ichiya, many are speculating that he will leave Akutaro after losing against Arajin.
A Reddit user even thinks that Ichiya will merge with Matakara at some point, which would lead to a showdown and a confrontation with Arajin.
This theory is possible, given Arajin’s complicated relationship with Matakara.
