So Far, Who Dies in Ninja Kamui?
At the beginning of Ninja Kamui, a group of murderous masked assassins kills an unidentified former ninja on the run.
The news channel reports this incident as the brutal murder that happened in El Balkeen, describing the grotesque state of the victim’s body.
The victim's body was lacerated multiple times with what appeared to be a sharp object, but the victim’s background had no discernible ties to any other organization.
Another murder occurred, and it happened in a quiet residential area of St. Marks that matches that of the case in High Park, as well as in Oleana and also in Zamilan. All of these murders happened in the same month.
As the number of murders increased, Joe Logan and his wife, Mari, started to get anxious.
While Joe thinks that the murderous assassins will not be able to find them, Mari thinks otherwise.
Mari believes that the so-called Reaper will come after them, but Joe argues that the Reaper likes to work alone.
In a sudden turn of events, the night after they celebrated Ren’s birthday, the group of masked assassins ambushed Joe’s family.
Joe tries his best to fight the assailants, taking them down one after the other, but he can’t deal with their numbers at all.
Then, Joe discovers that his wife, Mari, and his only child, Ren, died at the hands of the assailants. Joe succumbs to his injuries before he can reach the dead bodies of his loved ones.

Does Joe Higan Die in Ninja Kamui? Latest Status
So far, Joe Higan is still alive in Ninja Kamui. He miraculously comes back to life after the hospital pronounces him dead for a whole day.
Joe doesn’t understand why he lived despite his serious injury. Either he has dumb luck or someone is keeping him alive, but nothing has been confirmed for now.
Now, Joe is on the bloody path of revenge for the sake of his family. Not only did he burn their house down, but he also took his mask and his gear to start his retribution.
