In order for the cookie's magic to work, the person eating needs to make a sacrifice. The sacrifice can come in any form – money, health, or a person's life.
There is also one side effect to the cookie: the person eating it becomes addicted and is unable to stop eating.
When her sister becomes involved in the crime drama, it is up to Soo-young to look for the cookies and stop anyone else from consuming them.

High Cookie will be coming out on Monday, October 23, 2023. The show will be on LG and is even marketed as LG's first original drama.
The show was produced by Studio X+ U, which is LG U+'s own video content producer and distributor.
As explained, the company plans to produce a number of shows across various genres. They will then be supplying these to different outlets and platforms, like U+tv and Sporki.
LG U+ also shares that they will be marketing their content to other companies like Tving and Netflix.
For now, you can watch High Cookie exclusively on LG's U+ mobile TV.

The main characters in High Cookie include the following:
- Nam Ji-hyun plays Choi Soo-young. She is a temporary laborer at a factory. She is dedicated to taking care of her younger sister, Choi Min-young (played by Jung Da-bin).
- Jung Da-bin as Choi Min-young. Soo-young's younger sister who gets involved in the craze of the mysterious cookies.
- Choi Hyun-wook as Seo Ho-soo. One of the bullied students who get addicted to the cookies.
