Evilive is an original Genie TV drama that will be streaming on the platform. The official synopsis of the show reads:

"The series tells the story of a struggling lawyer who meets an absolute villain, and transforms into an elite villain himself."

The show follows a livelihood lawyer called Han Dong-soo (played by Shin Ha-kyun). Although he starts as a sensible and rational lawyer, he quickly becomes a twisted villain.

His half-brother, Han Beom-jae (played by Shin Jae-ha) helps get clients for him. Beom-jae works at a second-hand computer shop where he gets to connect with potential clients.

When Beom-jae hands Dong-soo a case, he realizes that his brother has changed. The case that he is dealing with involves Seo Do-young (played by Kim Young-kwang), a high-ranking member of a crime syndicate.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any romance in Evilive Kdrama. It's easy to think that Evilive has romance in it since Kim Young-kwang stars in the series.

After having starred in romantic comedies like Hello, Me!, Sweet Stranger and Me, Good Doctor, and many more, you would assume that Evilive also belongs to this genre.

However, Young-kwang has stepped out of his comfort zone and into the arms of Director Kim Jung-min.

Since the director is famous for bringing out the potential in the character development of his stars, we're excited about how he'll be able to do the same for Young-kwang and Ha-kyun.

Young-kwang already manages to transform himself for this role. Behind his handsome face, his character is a cruel and unpredictable man.
