Where to Watch and Stream All Jurassic Park & World Movies Online - November 2021 Update

With Jurassic World: Dominion less than a year from release, now might be the perfect time to catch up on all the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies. There was once a time when sequels in this franchise were as scarce as dinosaurs themselves, but since 2015, the Jurassic World 're-branding' has certainly breathed new life into the previously extinct franchise. There are now five movies in existence, or seven if you include the short film Battle at Big Rock and the recent special five-minute Jurassic World: Dominion prologue that showed alongside Fast & Furious 9 in IMAX and teased several new dinosaur species that will appear in the sixth installment.

Jurassic Park first came stomping into movie theaters back in 1993, and with sequels releasing every four years thereafter, with The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997, and Jurassic Park III in 2001, it seemed the franchise would never stop. But due to the third installment's underwhelming box office performances and poor critical reception, the franchise went into cold embryo storage for 15 years, before director Colin Trevorrow would bring it back to life with Jurassic World in 2015. Now, it's hard to imagine there was ever a time when genetically engineered dinosaurs weren't rampaging through movie theaters.

The 2015 film was followed up with Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom in 2018, and by now we would have seen the third entry in the Jurassic World trilogy, if not for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. To no surprise, Dominion was pushed back to 2022 and so there's still a while to go before we're reunited with all the returning characters (although filming has now wrapped). The only teases we've seen for such a scenario were in the closing scenes of the 2018 sequel, and in the trailers for the upcoming video game Jurassic World: Evolution 2. So, until June next year, we'll just have to hold onto our butts.

But it's not all bad news - the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies can all be streamed online, and we've compiled a list of all streaming services on which you can find them.

Unfortunately, none of the Jurassic films are currently available to watch on Netflix. While the two Jurassic World movies are nowhere to be seen on Hulu, you can stream the first three Jurassic Park movies, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III. This is great for anyone looking for a more nostalgic trip down Isla Nublar's memory lane, as opposed to Jurassic World's literal inclusion of nostalgia goggles.

You can find all Jurassic movies on Amazon Prime - with of course the exception of Jurassic World: Dominion, which, of course, hasn't even hit theaters yet. Rental prices for each of the films are $3.99 while purchasing them individually costs $14.99. For rentals, you have 30 days to start watching, and 48 hours to finish once you've started. But don't worry - the films aren't that long.

The Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies are among the few things left in the world that Disney somehow hasn't managed to get its hands on (but never say never). As such, none of the films, or animated shows for that matter, can be found on the House of Mouse's streaming service, or its streaming-service-within-a-streaming-service STAR.

Just like Hulu, the only Jurassic movies that can be found on HBO Max are the first three films, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III. But don't let that put you off - even with the third installment being the weakest of all five films (although good in its own right), the original trilogy can be enjoyed as its own entity before they slap Jurassic World on that plastic lunchbox.

In what order should I watch the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies?

If you're new to the Jurassic franchise - and the chances are that you might be if you're looking to stream them online - then you'll be glad to know that it's nothing like Star Wars. In other words, the films are laid out chronologically, so you can view them by order of release: Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and soon, Jurassic World: Dominion (which you should probably know won't be the last film in the franchise).

With all that said, it is worth noting that Battle at Big Rock takes place between Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, while the recent five-minute film is actually set sixty-five million years ago - easily the biggest jump back any prequel has ever made. As for Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, it starts around the same time as Jurassic World, but the third season has now reached the earlier events of Fallen Kingdom.

Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled for release in theaters on June 10, 2022.
