What to Expect From Liar Liar
Haruki Kuou’s Liar Liar light novel revolves around a deceitful young man named Hiroto Shinohara, who was once an ordinary transfer student without redeeming qualities.
But as soon as Hiroto stepped foot on the artificial island called Academy, also known as Shiki, things took a 360-degree turn! Not only did Hiroto’s name become known, but he also started living a life full of lies!
It all happened after Hiroto accidentally defeated Sarasa Saionji in a turn-based staring contest.
At the time, Sarasa is Academy Island’s top student who also holds the coveted Seven Star title. She was even called the empress of the entire island!
Now, Hiroto rose to the top of the ranks, but unbeknownst to the rest of the student body, his rank of Seven-Star is a lie!
As it turns out, Hiroto’s true rank is that of one star, and his seven-star title is only a façade instigated by his red star!
On an island where the students are obsessed with gaining stars, Hiroto must keep his secrets safe in order to stay!
He wants to find his missing childhood friend, and he can only do it if he agrees to collaborate with Principal Ichinose, his cute attendant Himeji, and the rest of the hackers and game manipulators behind his back!
