Jujutsu Kaisen’s action continues to ramp up, though there are still many mysteries that fans want to see answered. One question that many fans still have is: where is Jin Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen now?
As the series’ protagonist, it makes sense that Yuji Itadori is a skilled fighter. The reason he’s so powerful continues to be a mystery though. After all, there’s surely a reason for his abilities, and it likely lies in his parentage.

Who Is Jin Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Jujutsu Kaisen started with Yuji being under the care of his grandfather, Wasuke Itadori. It took a while, but Yuji’s parents were finally shown in the Itadori Extermination arc via a flashback.
Here, Jin Itadori is shown holding the baby Yuji while talking to Wasuke. At some point, Wasuke mentions how Jin wanted a child with a woman named Kaori, though she is said to have died.
Suddenly, Kaori Itadori appears, addressing Wasuke as her father-in-law. What’s more, Kaori is shown to have stitches on her forehead that look a lot like Kenjaku’s stitches in Geto’s body.

Yuji’s Mysterious Origins Continue to Puzzle Fans
So far, this has been the only hint that the series has given regarding Yuji’s mysterious origins. Despite being a short flashback, it has become the source of numerous fan theories over the years.
A popular theory is that Kenjaku inhabited Kaori’s body, thus making Kenjaku Yuji’s parent or at least his creator.
Coupled with Jin seemingly not acknowledging Kaori’s death, some fans also think that Jin is in league with Kenjaku.
This is often the prevailing theory for many, especially as it ties into why Choso calls Yuji his brother. After all, Choso and the Death Painting Wombs were created by Noritoshi Kamo whose body Kenjaku also inhabited.
Where Is Jin Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen Now? Our Speculations
Even if the theories about Yuji being Kenjaku’s child or creation turn out to be true, that still does not explain where Jin Itadori is now in Jujutsu Kaisen.
There’s a possibility that Jin is already dead. After all, if he were still alive, he probably would have appeared by now.
Another possibility is that Jin is still alive and is doing the bidding of Kenjaku, which can make sense if he was manipulated by Kenjaku as Kaori before.
It’s not clear when this will be answered. In the meantime, fans can look forward to more action involving Yuji and Sukuna in the next Jujutsu Kaisen manga chapter, which will be released this weekend.
