Clearly, Ishamael remains a villain in The Wheel of Time Season 2. Ishamael is the Dark One’s strongest lieutenant and the leader of the Forsaken, a group of powerful channelers who sold their souls to the Dark One.

Ishamael is known as the Betrayer of Hope. As the Dark One’s closest servant, he was granted the title of Nae'blis, which gives him direct authority over all of the Dark One’s followers.

Lanfear is described by Moiraine as the most dangerous of the 13 Forsaken. Lanfear is known for her casual cruelty and her mastery of the World of Dreams. She can hurt a person in the real world and in their dreams.

Lanfear was in love with the original Dragon, Lews Therin Telamon. However, he eventually left her and fell in love with Ilyena, who then became his wife. Lanfear then swore herself to the Dark One to try to get Lews back.

In The Wheel of Time series, Lanfear disguises herself as an innkeeper named Selene. She attempts to seduce Rand and bring him to the dark side but fails when Moiraine arrives to save him.

Currently, Ishamael and Lanfear are the only members of the Forsaken that have been introduced in the TV series.

Who Are The Black Ajah?

The Black Ajah joins the list of The Wheel of Time Season 2 villains. They are basically Evil Aes Sedai. They are Aes Sedai who have forsaken their Three Oaths to serve the Dark One.

They are a secret group, and members of the Black Ajah wear the color they officially belong to in order to disguise themselves.

The Wheel of Time Season 2 revealed that Liandrin, an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, is a member of the Black Ajah, and she answers to Ishamael.

The Seanchan joins the list of villains in The Wheel of Time Season 2. They come from a continent called “Seanchan” and are descendants of a historical legend named Artur Hawkwing. The Seanchan believe that it is their destiny to conquer the world.

In The Wheel of Time series, we often see the High Lady Suroth, a Seanchan noblewoman working with Ishamael.
