Who is Keith in Death and Other Details?
At this time of writing, only two episodes of Death and Other Details have been released. So any further information on Keith that gets revealed in the series may not yet be up to date.
But so far, we know that Keith Trubitsky (played by Michael Gladis) is a fake identity of Rufus Coteworth's (played by Mandy Patinkin) former assistant, Danny.
Before this revelation, however, the first episode shows us an unlikeable character who may have deserved to die. After all, he was immensely rude to a waitstaff on board the ship.
So when Keith was found dead the next morning, viewers might think he deserved it after his behavior.
But as we learned in the second episode, Keith's rude exterior is simply a cover-up to get the Collier family to trust him.

What Happened to Keith in Death and Other Details?
But what happened to Keith in Death and Other Details and who is his killer? As of this writing, we still don't know who killed him. Details about the murder will still be revealed in future episodes of the show.
In the first episode, Imogene Scott (played by Violett Beane) is the main suspect after Rufus finds footage of her leaving his room. Despite this, Rufus believes Imogene is innocent since he knows her from the past.
Imogene, on the other hand, insists on her innocence since she simply broke into Keith's room, smashed his expensive watch, and took some money from his wallet.
What she didn't know, however, was that room service would discover Keith in the morning pinned to a wall with a harpoon gun.
Although she is angry at Rufus for leaving her mother's murder case in the past, she decides to cooperate with him as it will tie the loose ends between the two murders.
In upcoming episodes, the two will be quietly working together to solve the mystery.
Who is Michael Gladis? Where Have You Seen Him Before?
Michael Gladis is the actor who plays Keith/Danny in Death and Other Details. He is an American actor who gained popularity for starring in the first three seasons of Mad Men.
You might recognize him from his other projects, Third Watch, Eagleheart, Leverage, Terminator Genisys, and Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
