Clay is a contestant on Love Is Blind season 6 who matched with Amber Desire "AD" Smith, a real estate broker. Meanwhile, he works as an enterprise salesman/entrepreneur.
We discovered that he owns WaveSandy Water Rentals, a Charlotte, NC-based business that offers jet ski and boat rentals.
Before their engagement, AD matched with another man in the series, Matthew Duliba. Unfortunately, AD realized that Matthew was two-timing her with Amber Grant by saying almost the same things to her.
After learning this, AD decided to seek comfort from Clay, who did not like that she was also seeing another guy, especially since it was Matthew.
AD was also put off when he asked about her physical appearance, which missed the point of the show. Despite these, she decided to accept Clay's proposal.

When the two left the pods, they joined the other engaged couples on a romantic getaway to the Dominican Republic. They also started to plan their on-screen wedding, which was happening at warp speed.
This was also when people started to notice some things about Clay. Even though Clay and AD were engaged, viewers couldn't move on from what he said to her. So, what did Clay say about AD on Love Is Blind season 6?
In one of their pod conversations, the couple was discussing their future, including the possibility of having kids.
Clay told AD it was important that she keep her body fit and bounce back right away after giving birth.
Although AD tried to sway him, she gave up when she realized that she couldn't change his mind.

While viewers have pointed out their observations on Clay's alleged "red flags", AD has also opened up about them. She said to Us Weekly:
"Oh my gosh, Clay is a walking red flag. I mean, from the moment I met him, it was [like], ‘red flag, red flag.’ When he wanted to know about the physical and what I looked like, I think that was very telling and a huge red flag.”
As of writing, Clay has not responded to the backlash. He'll probably talk about this in the special reunion episode at the end of the season.
Are Clay and AD Still Together?
Right now, we have only seen up to episode 9 of Love Is Blind season 6. The finale won't be until March 6, so we don't have an answer on whether Clay and AD decided to push through with their marriage.
It also doesn't help that the contestants on the show aren't allowed to spill their relationship status while LiB episodes are still airing.
But in a recent interview, AD encouraged viewers to "wait and see." Meanwhile, Clay responded "TBD."
The two are still following each other's social media pages, so it looks like they are still on good terms.
