Wesley Snipes Responds To Questions About His Return To The MCU As Blade

Marvel might be planning to branch out towards the cosmos after it ends Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers: Endgame, but fans continue to look back, hoping that the studio tries for a new take on everyone's favorite vampire hunter, Blade.

Fans are also hoping to see Wesley Snipes return to Marvel to work on another Blade movie. While the R-rated vampire-slashing franchise has yet to find its way back to the studio, fans continue to pine for Blade's return.

Attending the Stan Lee tribute event in Los Angeles, Snipes was recently approached by Collider Video in hopes for an answer on whether fans would get to see him play Blade again in the future.

"Daywalker clique, baby," Snipes responded, dodging the question like the vampire-slaying pro that he is.

Of course, fans aren't the only ones campaigning for Blade's return. The Punisher showrunner Steve Lightfoot also hopes to see Blade make his way back to the spotlight, saying that everyone's favorite Daywalker is due for a major comeback. Speaking in an interview with ComicBook.com earlier this month, Lightfoot let fans know that a Blade series would be a great idea for Marvel TV.

Right now, with the cancellation of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil, Marvel TV's been left with very little shows to go around. Though it doesn't really fit in with the universe shared by Jessica Jones and The Punisher, a Blade series would be a great addition to everything that's left in the studio's slate.
