You might have seen it before: the female lead is struggling with her career or earning money for her family's needs. She meets a chaebol being rushed by his grandparents to marry someone. The male lead hires her to pretend to be his wife but they fall in love in the end.

While that's a pretty typical K-Drama story, none of that is happening in Wedding Impossible-- at least the part where they fall in love in the end. That's because, in Wedding Impossible, the chaebol pretending to fall in love with the female lead is hiding his true gender preference.

We follow the story of Na A-jung (played by Jeon Jong-seo) who dreams of nothing but becoming an actress. Her best friend, Lee Do-han (played by Kim Do-wan), is being forced to get married by his grandfather.

But instead of marrying Yoon Chae-won (played by Bae Yoon-kyung), Do-han hires A-jung to pretend to be his fiancé.

There's a catch, however, Do-han's brother, Lee Ji-han (played by Moon Sang-min), wants to make sure that he succeeds as the successor of their family business. With that, he is determined to stop Do-han from marrying A-jung even if it means he has to fall in love with her instead.
